For those who care, the latest version of NetHack is available from the NetHack Home Page.

For those who don't know what NetHack is: It's a very old game based on the Dungeons-and-Dragons style 'hack and slash' principle. The twist is that it was originally developed to run on old text-based computers, so it's default interface looks . . . a little different:

Of course, there are graphical versions out there, but if you're truly hardcore you'll play the text version.

Be warned, though, that this is the most addictive game there is. You will get nothing done if you start down the dark path of NetHack playing.
