    Is there a way of viewing what items have been added to the online database so I know which ones I can submit for addition without duplication?

    Not, really, but Comicster makes you search before you upload. If you don't find it after a search then chances are it's not there (our database is very small compared to some of the other online databases you might know of Wink).

     Honestly your best bet is to try all variations of a character's name, including miss-spellings and even just part of a name.

    Looking for "super" should bring all versions of Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, and maybe a few extra items.
