Productive Developers
On this week's .NET Rocks, Richard Campbell made a really interesting comment. I believe he was quoting someone else, but the transcript's not up yet so I can't quote him directly. Instead, I'll paraphrase:
If your developers are silent, they're not being productive. Developers love to talk about their work. If they're being productive, you won't be able to shut 'em up.
I thought that was really insightful. Unfortunately, astute readers of Mabsterama will notice that my blog has been pretty quite for the past fortnight or so. Hmmm.

Kind of true, but then not much of my work is remotely blog worthy, and I've noticed not many people in our office could give two hoots what I'm working on no matter if I'm pretty excited or not.
Plus the excitement is wearing thin - basically things have started getting a little repetitive for me.
And every time I mention Sharepoint - which I am genuinely excited about, I get eyerolls now :)
So that's the reason I've gone quieter at any rate.
Plus it's christmas and I don't really feel the need to blog on how depressed this time of year gets me, or my severe need to kill people due to the effects of the music they decide to play in stores at this time of year.
On another note: The James Bond 007 collection came out and I have to get it. All the dvds for $210.
If only they were dual DVD/HD-DVD, we only had one format, and I would only have to buy them once for the next 10 years.
