Tonight I wanted to add a cool feature to Comicster - a "new releases" tree node (or series of tree nodes), that would feature new releases from the various publishers.

Turns out that the only publisher with an official new-releases feed is Marvel. You can view it here. None of the other major comic publishers seem to have heard of web feeds of any kind. That's really disappointing.

Before you tell me: Yes, I have heard of comiclist.com. Those guys produce a "what's new" feed, too, but it's a little too verbose for my tastes. That's why I was looking for a single feed per publisher.

So anyway, Marvel gets their own special feed node in Comicster. Everyone else misses out. You watch how quickly DC goes out of business now that they're missing out on Comicster support! ;-)
