Man oh man, you Aussie's do Christmas in a big way. You really scored, Mabster! I thought about your Christmas Haul from last year this morning after we did our Christmas gifts. Glad to see it's back! I'll now have to put mine together, though its not nearly as long as yours! :-)
Merry Christmas, Mab!

Merry Christmas to you, Dave (and to all my readers)!
I love reading about what people got for Christmas. I dunno if all Aussies do it in as big a way as Sal and I do, but I know it's a special time for everyone in the sunburnt country!

A History of Violence wasn't as great as I thought it would be... but yeah fantastic haul...
I don't know why I didn't get notification of your post but then my internets a little screwy lately.
I ended up getting the book for Eragon - which is so, so... very wordy but in a way that seems he basically took phrasing from every similar book to just push all the descriptiveness together.
And I got Viva Pinata. Which I already had.
So...
Yeah.
And congrats to hairy for the new place, whens the party?

I like to eat paste - preferably Clag & I didn't get any this year... Oh well, Merry Christmas.

Y'know Sally, that might be the strangest comment I have ever received on Mabsterama; even including the bizarre spam ones.
And for those wondering, this "Sally" person (whoever (s)he is) is *not* my wife Sal.

y'know - even though I asked I kind of thought it mustn't be Sal... she doesn't even have good taste in glue!
I mean Clag?
tsk, it's like they never graduated their taste buds from kindergarten... there's a wide variety of pastes and glues out there, broaden yourself!
And might I suggest staying away from quick bonding superglues... seriously, they do nothing for the tastebuds... except hurt.
